Anybody know where I can buy bulk sweatshirt material that is already worn and "pigment dyed?"?
Anybody know where I can buy Bulk sweatshirt fabric is already spent or pigment dyed? " I want to make vintage shirts.
I know of no source of pigment fleece dyed cotton. However, you can buy white cotton sweatshirt material, about 80% cotton/20% polyester, dyes, pigments and yourself. inks pigments are different from other dyes, in fact, are the dyes is not true at all, but the pigment particles in a base fabric paint. Dyeing of pigment is good harvest looks solid colors instead of perfectly smooth, the color begins to fade away, giving a snapshot of age. Two different I recommend color pigments are pigment dye Dharma Dharma Trading Company in California, and color concentrates Profab PRO Chemical & Dye in Massachusetts. (Both sold their products by mail-order, if not have a credit card, you can send a check or money order.) Dharma dye pigment is useful for small quantities, as only one or two sweatshirts with value 'of material at once. It is sold ready-mixed and only needs some dilution before application. Complete instructions are provided. In his description, saying, "In most natural fabrics, especially if heat-set, you get a cold anguish or" stonewashed "look after washing, which is unique to the use of pigments instead of dyes. It's a …. unique look of polyester and other synthetic materials, we find that this product sticks pretty well, unlike other dyes. Profab color concentrates are ideal for large quantities of pigment dyeing, up to five pounds of material at once, in a washing machine. Unfortunately, unlike Procyon dyes, pigment dyes machine permanently. This will not hurt the laundry in the machine in the future, but can cause unhappiness, if the stain of another computer without permission. The process is more complex than with Dharma dye pigment, but cheaper, and quite easy to do if you follow the instructions closely.
