Opc Drum
I have a question about OPC drums in printers …. help?
We have a Konica Minolta Magicolor 2350. The OPC drum has been out for a while now, however, has not seemed to stop printing. My question is what does the OPC drum make? It's hard to justify buying a new OPC drum when it costs more that a new printer. Thanks for your reply. It is said that the OPC drum is out though. Rich in the LCD of the printer. "Magicolor 2350 OPC Drum Out" has been been saying that for about 2 months and the printer prints.
The drum has a number of calibration prior pages to be printed before it is considered the end of the service that is life. The drum is an integral part of the image formation as it is the part of the printer that attract the toner powder and applies OT page. This unit should be replaced. Its image quality Wain start very quickly, and runs the risk of damage to the printer.
